Cbank: Russian inflationary expectations fall by 1.3 pp in Dec
MOSCOW, Dec 21 (PRIME) -- Russia’s inflationary expectations for the next 12 months fell by 1.3 percentage points in December and returned to the October level after growth in November, but their level still remains excessive, the central bank said in a report on Wednesday.
“A downward trend was seen in dynamics of inflationary expectations in 2016. However, their level remains excessive and exceeds the central bank’s medium-term inflation target of 4%, which creates pro-inflationary risks in the economy,” the regulator said.
